Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary
Located 12 km. from Kothamangalam and about 58 km from Kochi city. It has dense tropical evergreen forest and a population of over 500 species of exotic birds. Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary
Kadalundi bird sanctuary is one of the attractive Bird Sanctuary in Kerala. It located at a distance of 19 km from Kozhikode and 7 km from Beypore port. It is giving shelter to more than a hundred varieties of native birds and over 60 species of migratory birds flock. The best season for a visit to this place is, from December to April, during the early hours of the day. One day trip from Kozhikode should be sufficient to explore the sanctuary.
