About Kerala
Kerala (Keralam) is a state located in southwestern India and sandwiched between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats. Kerala has the highest literacy rate among the Indian states and ranked first as the least corrupt state in the country. The people are simple and hospitable. The vernacular is Malayalam, but the majority can speak communicable English. Keralites has a long contact with the outside world that led to an interesting mixture of culture and a cosmopolitan outlook.
